The purpose of this newsletter is to share with you the work we have done throughout the first term in the English class.
- Creativity and Persuasion in Action. MYP 2 (1º ESO)
This term, MYP2 students explored the exciting topic of leisure activities through a practical and engaging project. Their main task was to design posters promoting extracurricular activity clubs.
This project not only allowed them to unleash their creativity but also gave them the opportunity to practice persuasive language. They learned to use specific techniques to grab attention, structure compelling messages, and employ effective vocabulary to convince others to join their fictional clubs.
Our class is now filled with colorful, inspiring posters that showcase the students’ talent and hard work. From adventure sports clubs to creative art workshops, their ideas reflected enthusiasm and imagination.

- Mysteries and Creative Writing. MYP 3 (2º ESO)
MYP 3 students delved into the intriguing topic of mysteries and embraced their inner writers to create a collection of original mystery stories. Inspired by the stories read in class, they worked on crafting narratives filled with twists and captivating details.
This project was an excellent opportunity to practice narrative tenses while learning how to structure a story effectively. They focused on developing interesting characters, vivid settings, and engaging plots that kept readers on the edge of their seats.
The result is a remarkable digital collection of mystery tales.

Both MYP 2 and MYP 3 students have displayed incredible effort and enthusiasm this term. We are proud of their achievements and looking forward to an even more exciting second term!
